Vor gut dreissig Jahren ging der Dokumentarfilm von Malte Rauch und mir, MonkeyBusiness , den Narrativen zum Ursprung der damals neuen Seuche AIDS und ihres vermuteten Erregers, des HIV-Retrovirus nach. Im Wesentlichen drei grundsätzliche Fragen stellten sich dabei:

(1) War es "Zoonose", war das ansteckende Virus "natürlichen" Ursprungs, von einem anderen, lebendigen Wirt/Tier auf Menschen übergegangen, also mit einem "Artensprung" ?
(2) War dieser Artensprung durch menschliches Zutun veranlasst ?
Beispielsweise, wie damals schon bekannt war, durch Massentierhaltung (Grippeviren aus Geflügelfabriken) oder die Benutzung von Tieren in Labors und Versuchen (Übertragung des Affenvirus SV40 in Polio-Impfstoffe, oder des "Marburg"-Virus, das Opfer unter Forschern und Laboranten verursacht hatte); oder
(3) Oder war es ein - zufällig oder beabsichtigt - hergestelltes Labor-Produkt ?

Diese Fragen sind bis heute offen geblieben.

Ebenso Fragen zum Zusammenhang zwischen HIV-Infektion und dem Krankheitsbild AIDS, die in der hervorragenden Dokumentation "House of Numbers"[*] gestellt werden, die vielerorts im Internet erreichbar ist.

Hier sollen weiteren Beiträge darauf hinweisen, welche Aspekte in Bezug auf diese drei Fragen in jüngerer Zeit erörtert worden sind.

In fact, Fauci's cover-up to the issue of SARS-Cov-2's origin followed a pattern of what was persued at the time of early confrontations about the HIV origin.

 House of Numbers  by Brent Leung, USA 2009 (Video 1:12:11), discusses intensively if HIV is the cause of AIDS, and what the virus is thaught to be and where/how it became to be.. As a singularily rare example it takes up a really broad spectrum of "dissident" scientists and experts and the international conference where South Africa in 2000 attempted to stage the only fundamental debate of among the different positions.

The Origin of AIDS is a thorough presentation and analysis of the work of Edward Hooper about the development and experiment of a polio vaccin in the then Belgian Congo of the 1950/60s (the later Zaire and today's DR Congo) which could have been the occasion for the emergence of AIDS: and thus, a laboratory accident. The position of virologist Peter Duesberg who disputes the virological reason for the disease AIDS has been the basic subject of the documentary "Heresy" which tackles insufficiencies and defaults of the dominant explanation of HIV as the cause for AIDS, and thus, of its origin.
